K-Pop Giant Modhaus Enters Web3 with Abstract Chain Partnership

Korean entertainment agency Modhaus has officially announced a strategic partnership with Abstract Chain, marking the company’s entry into the Web3 ecosystem and its expansion into global markets.

Modhaus manages rising K-Pop groups such as tripleS, ARTMS, and idntt. Since their debut in 2023, tripleS alone has garnered over 3.7 million followers across social media platforms, 600 million views on YouTube, and 250 million streams on Spotify. The groups have received several accolades, including the MAMA Best New Female Artist award and nominations for Best K-Pop Album.

Having previously focused primarily on the Asian market and Web2 platforms, Modhaus aims to use this partnership with Abstract Chain to reach audiences in North America, mainstream media, and the Web3 space. The collaboration is expected to include distribution strategies and go-to-market models that differ from traditional blockchain approaches.

Abstract Chain has become a growing hub for consumer-facing onchain applications, with a user base comparable to that of major app stores. Modhaus plans to leverage this infrastructure to introduce K-Pop culture to new audiences through blockchain-powered experiences.

The partnership will feature interactive content and activations involving Modhaus’s flagship groups tripleS, ARTMS, and idntt, set to be announced in the near future.

Beyond the entertainment sector, this collaboration highlights how brands with proven traction and revenue in Web2 are beginning to adopt blockchain technology through platforms like Abstract Chain.
